1998, Tbilisi. A charity auction was
created “Renaissance of Georgian Culture” V. Kandelaki. In the
program of the fund was included help to the students of Tbilisi
State Academy of Artis, by ways of scholarships, money prizes,
publishing books, organization of exhibitions.
1998, Philadelphia. Charity auction
PVLA’S ARTS Auction and Gala. Graphical series and a published
album of creative works in America “Between the Two Worlds”.
1998, Washington. Independence Day of
Georgia, held by Georgian Embassy in Georgia concurred with a
visit of Catholicos Patriarch of all Georgia Ilia II and a
delegation of clergymen. Presentation of the album “Between the
Two Worlds” was confined to the festival by V. Kandelaki issued in
America. Georgian embassy and the guests were handed in 200 albums
for women’s and children’s funds.
1999, New York. Georgian association
celebrated Independence Day of Georgia, May 29, Art Exhibition of
V. Kandelaki, also presentation of an American album “Between the
Two Worlds”.
1999. An academic publication was
drawn “London and New York” of a political book “The Rise and Fall
of the Soviet Union 1917-1991”, professor of Kent University
Richard Sakwa, on the cover of which there is a reproduction of a
picture by V. Kandelaki. “House of cards”.
1999, c. Tbilisi. Presentation of a
book “Georgian Culture”, for the first time in history issued in
native language, the book “Golden Section” by S. Kobuladze, that
had not been published during 30 years, sponsored by V. Kandelaki
in Tbilisi State Academy of Arts of Georgia.
1999, Philadelphia. Charity
exhibition of works and presentation of the album, reproduction by
V. Kandelaki “Between the Two Worlds”, the BALCH Museum in the
Ethnic Institute.
V. Kandelaki made a present to
libraries, universities and Academy of Arts of America 500
exemplars of albums.
C. Moscow, charity exhibition –
presentation of the books “Georgian Culture”, “Golden Section”, by
S. Kobuladze and the album “Between the Two Worlds” by V.
Kandelaki in the building of Georgian embassy in c. Moscow.
1999. Beginning of the construction
in the zone of Museum of Georgian National Architecture and Life
“Peter and Paul” Church (copies of the church “Didi Jikhaishi”)
and Ethnical Museum and studio of V. Kandelaki.
2000, c. Tbilisi. An album “My Home,
My Studio” was published. Charity presentation of the album.
2001. Repair of a hall of the
building of Janashia State Historical Museum of Georgia and
exhibition of weapon collection, life and musical instruments by
V. Kandelaki and his collage works.
2002, Tbilisi State Historical Museum
“Karvasla”. Exhibition of collections of old utensils, musical
instruments, plates and dishes and family weapons from all the
corners of the Caucasus and other countries of Europe, Asia and
America and collage works by the artist under motto “World
Society, My Country, My People”. Repair of the hall, fixing
shop-windows, issuing posters, booklets, tickets. The name of the
exhibition was “Cradle Protection”.
2002, issuing a photograph album for
the anniversary of Tbilisi State Academy of Arts.
2002, NEW YORK USA. Personal
exhibition of V. Kandelaki and T. Kandelaki in the central
building of the United Nations Organization. Propaganda of
Georgian culture, organizer – Georgian representative at the
U.N.O. and artist V. Kandelaki.
2002, London, Day of Georgian
Culture. Organizer – Georgian consulate in Great Britain.
