MATTHEW BAIGELL
 MATTHEW
BAIGELL, a Professor of Art History and former Chairman of the
Art History Department at Rutgers University, has published
widely in the field of American art. He is the author of many
articles and books including the well known text A Concise
History of American Painting and Sculpture (Harper Collins). With
his wife, Renee Baigell, he recently co-edited Soviet Dissident
Artists: Interviews after Perestroika (Rutgers University Press).
